Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum

Welcome to Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum

A Florida Everglades Museum!

The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is home to more than 180,000 unique artifacts, archival items and experiences. For this reason, visitors from all over come and learn about the Seminole people at our Florida Everglades museum. For example, find out why the Seminoles are the only tribe in America to be unconquered. Also, the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is committed to building and maintaining the highest quality of exhibits that interpret Seminole culture and history, inspiring an appreciation and understanding of the Seminole people. The Museum features five different exhibit galleries for our visitors to explore. In addition, the permanent galleries provide a glimpse into life as a Seminole in the late 19th century to provide an historical reference point. Lastly, our temporary exhibits allow for an in-depth look at contemporary Seminole life.

In particular, a must see is our expansive mile-long boardwalk.  It is here that visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the Florida Everglades flora and fauna, while delighting their senses of sight, sounds and smell. Most importantly, our Florida Everglades museum is a great way to spend the day on your next family vacation.

Each year, thousands of South Florida students come to visit the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum for a school field trip. Student education trips are a great way to bring the Seminole Story to the next generation! Moreover, students can sight-see a natural cypress dome as they walk along our beautiful boardwalk leading to an authentic Seminole Village often showcasing Seminole artisans.
